Yarnia is back! Rotating Thursays at 6pm. A knitting, crocheting, and yarn club for all skill levels. Next meet is Thursday October 18th at 6pm! BYOH/N (Bring your own hooks/needles), we have tons of yarn!

Help us stock the Little Free Pantry and fill the shelves of the Eganville Foodbank with Food for Fines month. Every item is $2 off your fines! (lost or damaged materials do not count towards this promotion, sorry!)
WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31ST- HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Stop-in at BUPL for a sweet treat (in costume, of course) We are open from 10-8. Don't have anyone to Trick'r'Treat with? Don't fret! Meet at BUPL at 5pm to group trick with Miss Bee (ages 9+)! Pick-up at library at 8 pm.
ALL OF NOVEMBER- NaNo WriMo (National Novel Writing Month)
It's NaNo WriMo and we challenge you! Can you write a novel in one month? We offer you the paper, pencils and space to do it! Fridays you can have the Maker Space from 12-3 pm!
WEDNESDAY NOVEMEBER 7, 14, & 21- TALKS FOR A BETTER WORLD
Claire from The Space Between is hosting 'Talks for a Better World'. A weekly video workshop through soundstrue.com! 2 pm on the 7th, 14th, and 21st! Mindful and thought provoking talks! Free and open to all!
MONDAY NOVEMBER 12TH- #METOO FILM NIGHT: SLUT OR NUT
Join the Women's Sexual Assault Centre and Bonnechere Union Public Library on November 12th for a screening and discussion of the documentary, Slut or Nut: Diary of a Rape Trial. The story follows Mandi Gray as she grapples with the police, the university administration, and the legal system - all unwilling to take seriously her rape report by a fellow PhD student. Frustrated by a system stacked against her, Gray turns to activism to advocate for herself and other women like her.
This screening is free and for mature audiences only. 6:30 pm.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17TH: BUPL ROCKS!
This is our FOURTH annual BUPL Rocks concert! Featuring: Danah Lee, Handsome Eric w/Nightshift, and Underclass Heroes. We're still looking for volunteers and silent auction items! If you are interested in helping, please contact the library direct. Concert takes place at the Eganville Legion. Doors at 6:30pm, bands start at 7! Silent auction, kids' table, spot prizes and more! $5 suggested donation.
LITTLE FREE PANTRY: DONATIONS
We're always looking for donations for the pantry. Some suggestions include: dried, packaged food such as cup of soups, tea/hot chocolate/coffee, porridge, dried fruit, cakes and granola bars. Toiletries like toothbrushes, soap and deodorant are great, too. Bottles of water and freeze pops are other ways to fill the pantry during the summer months. Donations can be put directly into the pantry 24/7 or dropped-off inside the library during operating hours. And please remember, the pantry is accessible to everyone, 24/7.
