BUPL has an arrangement with the Southern Ontario Library Service (SOLS) to receive new large print items, literacy materials and DVDs several times yearly. This arrangement ensures that new items will always be arriving at the library.

Books, magazines, CDs, VHS videos, large print and audio books have a loan period of three weeks. DVDs have a loan period of one week. If our library has an item you would like, we can reserve that item for you and notify you when it becomes available.

Please feel free to contact us any time to renew your books and avoid overdue fines.

Books, magazines, CDs, large print and audio books have an overdue penalty of $0.25 per item/day. VHS videos have a penalty of $0.50 per item/day. DVDs have a penalty of $1.00 per item/day.

You can renew any of these items over the phone or by email to avoid late penalties.

If we don't have what you need, BUPL staff can order it through inter-library loan. Materials will usually arrive within a week and we'll give you a call to let you know it's in.
